I am third generation firefighter. After my grandfather was Chief of Lampasas for many years and my father a volunteer for lampasas then joined Sam Bass. I joined Sam Bass at the age of 18, my father had already been a volunteer here for several years so I knew some of the people and thought this would be a good place to start. I went to A&M's Recruit Fire Academy and became the first Commission certified firefighter in the family and also the first career firefighter in the family after Sam Bass hired me in 2002.
